We specialize in long term care of autoimmune diseases that are specific to rheumatology. Few examples of such diseases include: Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis with psoriasis, Ankylosing spondylitis, SLE, Discoid lupus, Sjogren’s, MCTD, Dermatomyositis, Polymyositis, Gout, Vasculitis, Crest syndrome, Scleroderma, Polymyalgia rheumatica, Giant cell arteritis, Iritis related to underlying rheumatic disease, Osteoporosis/Osteopenia, Knee/shoulder/hand OA, trigger fingers, bursitis etc. These diseases are diagnosed after a detailed objective evaluation at the visit which includes patient history/symptoms, physical examination, labs and imaging as deemed necessary. We do not see all autoimmune diseases as they span through multiple specialties such as dermatology, GI, neurology, pulmonary, endocrinology, etc. and are managed by respective consultants.
