Dr. Malaty completed her Internal Medicine residency at HonorHealth in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she served as chief resident. She received several awards during her time in residency including Resident of the Year, Leader in Medicine, and Humanism in Medicine. She went on to complete her Rheumatology fellowship at The University of Arizona. Dr. Malaty has published several journal articles as well as completed practice changing quality improvement projects. As a refugee to this country, she is passionate about serving the underserved.
During her spare time, she loves to travel and most importantly spend time with her husband and son.
