Christina Pennington graduated in 1996 from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She worked in Telemetry at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center for ten years. While working as a staff RN at Banner Thunderbird, she became a clinical instructor for Glendale Community College. She earned a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2001 from University of Phoenix, then shortly after accepted a full-time faculty position at GCC. In 2014 she accepted an Assistant Clinical Professor position and earned a Post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Northern Arizona University. Christina joined Prescott Rheumatology in 2014, then Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology in 2016. She is working on a Doctorate in Nursing Practice with an anticipated completion in Spring 2016. Christina is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family.
